Make It Unreachable with Raven

You already learned about the new era of EDR with our last blog, now lets dive into Zone 5. Zone 5, data-centric enforcement, is where the highest-stakes risk resolves: ransomware, insider threats, and the exfiltration of IP and sensitive data. It’s also where the market has converged on visibility: classify the data, trace it as it moves, coach the user on the way out. That produces excellent forensics. It doesn’t, on its own, stop anything. SACR makes the point directly: the leading data-lineage platform is forensics-first, and teams that need real-time prevention should pair it with a prevention-first enforcement layer.

Arms Cyber is that layer. Raven closes the gap not by watching data move faster, but by making the data unreachable in the first place and by ensuring that if anything does get through, recovery is measured in minutes rather than the week-plus and 8× recovery costs that follow when backups fall with the rest of the environment.

You can’t encrypt, exfiltrate, or leak what you can’t find.

A control moment before the data moves

Most of Zone 5 organizes around the moment data moves. Raven adds an earlier control moment, before the data can be discovered or targeted at all, then closes the loop so an incident never becomes an outage. Three moves: Conceal, Adapt, Restore.

Conceal — out of sight, out of reach. Raven’s stealth directories keep critical data concealed from attackers, invisible to both encryption and exfiltration. Even when ransomware or AI-crafted malware executes with legitimate permissions, it can’t locate what it came for.

Adapt — decoys expose the attacker, not your data. Deceptive file structures lure attackers into false engagements, surfacing a threat with high fidelity before any real data is touched. Raven also watches continuously for the signature move of ransomware, a shift in file entropy, and when encryption behavior appears, it acts on the real files during execution, minimizing what an attacker can reach.

Restore — recovery in minutes, not weeks. Stealth backups keep file versions in concealed enclaves an attacker can’t locate or corrupt, enabling immediate recovery with integrity intact. And because the costliest ransomware outcomes happen when the backups themselves are compromised, Raven extends ransomware protection to the backups you already keep, hardening that environment so your clean restore points survive the attack. Raven protects those copies; it doesn’t replace the backup platform that holds and restores them.

One platform, three modules

Raven is delivered as three modules you can adopt independently:

APE — AI Policy Enforcement. Visibility into, and policy control over, AI activity on the endpoint, so AI tools operate inside the guardrails you set.

ARP — AI Ransomware Protection. Entropy-based detection that acts on files during execution, with Stealth Backup for immediate, concealed recovery.

ADR — AI Data Resilience. Ransomware protection for your backups, so the environment you’d rely on to recover can’t be taken down with everything else.

The overlay

Raven deploys as a lightweight sensor alongside your existing EDR/XDR: no reboots, no rip-and-replace, no competition with the detection you already run. It holds the ground detection was never built to hold: the data itself.

Everyone else starts the clock when the data moves. Raven starts before it can be found.

Protect the data, not just the path to it.
